 NGrain Overview

Ngrain is a interactive 3D model used for SCORM compliant training and e-learning modules I helped to develop. The biggest feature about these models was that we could take 3D solid models and convert them over into the  NGrain format which could not be reverse engineered since the NGrain file was no longer polygons but instead shaded pixels, called 'voxels" From there I created step by step maintenance procedures to be used in training or sold to customers to supplement service manuals.

The videos below are all screen captured, so they are not real time movements.
This first video demonstrates for the end user how to complete his or her's first task, with the replacement of a washpipe. The movie, task , annotations and images are all contained in a 2MB file.
The second video showcases how audio can be included as well and be imbedded into PDF's and Powerpoints.
This last video is a general overview of what is capable inside NGrain to the author when he is creating tasks and animations.
SCREEN CAPTURES

Here are some screen captures from a TDX-1250 which shows multiple filters being applied, real time annotations to train the user, and the step by step procedures for assembly and to disassemble.
