A legal body of public law, the National Agency for State Property will begin operating under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development from January 2013.

This agency will operate in the area of the privatisation of state property and the transfer of rights to use and govern enterprises with state participation, the ministry said.

The agency office is located in the House of Justice in Tbilisi.
The Georgian Economy Ministry said that the individuals concerned in acquiring or using the state property will be able to use fast and quality services via a 'single window' principle through the service centres of the agency from October.

The Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will control the National Agency for State Property. Read Less
