Myunchaeban is a homemade knife-cut noodle restaurant located in Hongdae, Seoul, South Korea. Unlike other standard franchise knife-cut noodle restaurants in Korea, Myunchaeban has cafe-like cozy interior and serves heart-warming food everyday. 

 

The design concept behind this project is 80’s Korean House style with simple black and white combination. The display window is made slightly smaller than usual ones, so that anyone who passes by can take a peek through the window. Items like small doghouse, Korean traditional pots, dolls made of paper, photographs from 80’s were used to decorate and spice up the interior and to give cozy and home-dining experience.
