“México Ciudad Futura” chronicles the bold plan to rejuvenate the environmental and social dynamics of Mexico City through the rescue of the dry Texcoco lakebed, just 10 kilometers from the city’s historic centre. Guided by the renowned architect Alberto Kalach, the project aims to integrate ecology, infrastructure and urban development for the entire region over the next ten years. Blok conceived the idea of producing a book to provide clarity about the plan’s importance and to inspire change. We lead the project, editing and designing the project’s 50 boxes of archival documents into an accessible, meaningful book. We also served as fundraiser and publisher.
