The Bountry Trilogy
Book covers for the classic The Mutiny on the Bounty and sequels by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman.
Written in 1932 about the true events of the HMS Bounty, the trilogy follows the divergent paths of three parties: the neutral observers, the mutineers, and the loyal crew.
It's written in fictional, first-hand journal accounts of the crewmen.
The illustrations are modeled after "classic" hand-poked tattoos, alluding to the toughness of the men, the code of the sea, and the memory of the events.
