CD Cover, Booklet and Gig Poster for the Bright Eyes Album "Fevers and Mirrors"
We were asked to design the Cover of a CD by using 3D-/experimental typography for the band's name (it was not allowed to use simple printed characters).
I picked the album "Fevers and Mirrors" of the Indie Band "Bright Eyes". To me, the lyrics have a lot to do with time in general, mechanism of time, strong feelings and calendars. So I went to several flee markets, bought a bunch of old mechanical clocks and built my lettering with toothed wheels.
For the booklet I photographed different "tools of time" and clock parts. I also tried to reflect the song's meanings in typography.
Last picture is the gig poster for a concert in Vienna.
