Museum Of Measurement Wayfinding

Museum Of Measurement:
Wayfinding
My first design was a result thinking about the sort of measurements you could make in relation to where the directional piece was telling them where to go. I used research of measuring instruments and the book ‘Information Is Beautiful’ by David McCandless to fuel ideas for what could be written on the pieces to make them more interesting.
The colour helped the sign to stand out and reinforced a sense of fun and humor in the work. It also correlates to what I believe the Museum of Measurement would feel like (sciency, colourful and edgy).
I used the font Helvetica (obviously) because it reflects well the concept of perfection and accuracy with its clean refined look.
