- Ø The stages and characters were inspired from the gourd shape and Mexican crafts ornamentation.
- Ø For the character and stages structure, it was decided to use elementary geometric figures because of their easy recognition among different users.
- Ø The color system was designed from the need to generate twelve animations. We chose six color ranges (positives) and a color range (negative) which is repeated once to prevent visual monotony or boredom.
- 1. Soberanía / Sovereignty
- The first piece "Sovereignty" explains:- The sovereignty is the supreme authority of public power, on its territory and its inhabitants.- The sovereignty is the power of the people to take and keep the fundamental decisions.On 39th Article:- The national sovereignty resides essentially and originally in the People.- All public power emanates from the People and this is instituted for the benefit of this.- The People has at all times the inalienable right to alter or modify their form of government.STAFF

- 2. Igualdad ante la ley / Equality before the law
- Concerniente al Artículo 1:
- Las garantías individuales tienen el objeto de evitar los privilegios injustificados y colocar a todos los gobernados en la misma situación frente a la ley. La igualdad jurídica consiste en evitar las distinciones que se hagan por raza, sexo, edad, religión, profesión, posición económica, etc._On 1st Article:- The aim of these guarantees is to avoid any unjustified privileges and place every subject under the same position in regards to the Law as everyone else. - 3. Derechos sociales / Social rights
- La Constitución Mexicana vigente está conformada por dos partes conocidas como dogmática y orgánica. En la primera (parte dogmática), quedan consignadas las garantías Individuales y se reconocen derechos y libertades sociales:
- Derecho a la libertad, aboliendo la esclavitud y otorgando libertad a cualquier individuo dentro del Territorio Nacional.
- Derecho a la libre expresión, asociación y tránsito, libertades esenciales de la nación mexicana.
- Derecho a la educación, siendo ésta otorgada por el Estado de manera laica y gratuita.
- Derecho a la libre profesión de cultos.
- Derecho al trabajo digno y socialmente útil.- Toda persona tiene derecho a la protección de la salud. La Ley definirá las bases y modalidades para el acceso a los servicios de salud.
Los Derechos Sociales comprenden los Artículos del 1 al 29 que se encuentran en el Título primero, Capítulo I; además del Artículo 123.

The current Mexican Constitution is divided in two, a Dogmatic and an Organic sections. The first one records individual guarantees and also recognizes social rights and freedom:
- Freedom rights.
- Freedom of speech, association and transit. Essential freedoms of Mexico.
- Right to Education. The State is in charge of granting education. State education is free and secular.
- Freedom of Religion. Individuals are free to practice their religion however they choose to.
- Right to Health. Every individual has the right to protect his/her health. The Law shall determine how individuals can and should access health services.
- Right to decent and cocially useful labor.
These Social Rights can be found in Articles 1 to 29, which are included in Title I, Chapter 1 as well as the 123rd Article.

- El Título Tercero está dividido en cuatro capítulos que contienen 58 Artículos (del 49 al 107), el Capítulo I trata de la división de poderes.

- 6. Control del poder / Limits of the power
- La idea central del Estado Constitucional y Democrático de Derecho es la de control y limitación del poder político. A partir de aqui se constituye toda una arquitectura de frenos y contrapesos, cuyo objetivo principal es que no existan organos del Estado que no estén sujetos a limites o algún tipo de control.

The main idea of the Constitutional and Democratic State is to control and limit political power. Hereinafter, an entire structure of hindrances and “counterbalances” is construed. The main objective here is to prohibit the existence of powers of the State that are not subject to any limits or control. - STAFF

- 7. Federalismo / Federalism
- Concerniente al Artículo 115:- Se reconocen y garantizan las diferentes formas de propiedad. La propiedad pública es aquella que pertenece a los entes del Estado; la propiedadsocial es aquella que pertenece al pueblo en su conjunto y las futuras generaciones, y podrá ser de dos tipos: la propiedad social indirecta cuando esejercida por el Estado a nombre de la comunidad, y la propiedad social directa,cuando el Estado la asigna, bajo distintas formas y en ámbitos territorialesdemarcados, a una o varias comunidades, ... , constituyéndose así enpropiedad ciudadana.- La propiedad colectiva es la perteneciente a grupossociales o personas, para su aprovechamiento, uso o goce en común, pudiendo serde origen social o de origen privado; la propiedad mixta es la conformada entreel sector público, el sector social, el sector colectivo y el sector privado,en distintas combinaciones, para el aprovechamiento de recursos o ejecución deactividades, siempre sometida al respeto absoluto de la soberanía económica ysocial de la Nación.- Y la propiedad privada es aquella que pertenece a personasnaturales o jurídicas y que se reconoce sobre bienes de uso, consumo y mediosde producción legítimamente adquiridos, con los atributos de uso, goce ydisposición y las limitaciones y restricciones que establece la ley.

- Different forms of ownership are recognized and guaranteed. Public ownership belongs to state agencies; public property belongs to the people at large and their future generations and there can be two types: indirectly state-owned property when the State takes charge of the operation on behalf of the community, and directly state-owned property when the State assigns, in various forms and marked areas of land, to one or more communities, to one or more municipalities, thus becoming common property for one or more cities, becoming in the end public property.
- Common property is owned by social groups or individuals, to be used by all or for enjoyment, or as the group or individual see fit. This property may be public or privately owned; miixed property, formed by the public, social, collective and private sectors, in several types of combinations. The use of this property, its resources as well as the implementation of activities is always to be carried out with the utmost respect to the economic and social sovereignty of the Nation.
- Private property, belonging to individuals or corporations and recognized as a fixed asset for its use, consumption and means of production which have been legitimately acquired, with the attribution of use, enjoyment and the limitations and restrictions established by the Law for public utility or public interest.

- Concerniente al artículo 110:- Los senadores y diputados al Congreso de la Unión, losMinistros de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación, los Consejeros de laJudicatura Federal, los Secretarios de Estado, los diputados de la AsambleaLegislativa del Distrito Federal, el Jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Federal, elProcurador General de la República, el Procurador General de Justicia delDistrito Federal, los Magistrados de Circuito y Jueces de Distrito, losMagistrados y Jueces del Fuero Común del Distrito Federal, los Consejeros de laJudicatura del Distrito Federal, el Consejero Presidente, los ConsejerosElectorales, y el Secretario Ejecutivo del Instituto Federal Electoral, losMagistrados del Tribunal Electoral, los Directores Generales y sus equivalentesde los organismos descentralizados, empresas de participación estatalmayoritaria, sociedades y asociaciones asimiladas a éstas y fideicomisospúblicos.- En el segundo párrafo cita cuáles servidores públicos delas entidades federativas serán sujetos al juicio político previsto en elTítulo Cuarto de la Constitución Federal: Los gobernadores, diputados locales,magistrados y, en su caso, miembros de los consejos de las judicaturas locales,por violaciones graves a la constitución y a las leyes federales, así como elmanejo indebido de fondos y recursos federales. On the 110th Article:
- Senators and members of the General Congress, the judges of the Supreme Court’s Office, the Directors of the Federal Judiciary, the Secretaries of State, Members of the Federal District Legislative Assembly, the Mayor of the Federal District, the Attorney General of the Republic, the Justice Attorney General of the Federal District, Magistrates and Judges of the Common Jurisdiction of the Federal District, the Directors of the Judiciary Committee of the Federal District, the Chief Councilors, Electoral Councilors and the Executive Secretary of the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE), Magistrates of the Electoral Court Judges, Chief Executive Officers and their equivalent members in decentralized organizations, i.e. state-owned companies, societies and associations that have been integrated here and in public trusts.
- The second paragraph states which public servants of the states shall be subject to impeachment seen in Title Four of the Federal Constitution. These are: governors, deputies, judges and, if the case may be, members of the board of local judiciaries. These members can be impeached if any serious violation of the Constitution, Federal Laws or mishandling of Federal Funds and Resources is proven. If the case is such then local legislature shall be informed, and can/should proceed accordingly.
- The necessary measures include removal of public office and total disqualification for any future employment, duties or fees of any kind in public service.

- Concerniente al Articulo 35:
- En prerrogativas del ciudadano:
I. Votar en las elecciones populares.
II. Poder ser votado para todos los cargos de eleccion popular y nombrado para cualquier otro empleo o comision, teniendo las calidades que establezca la ley.
III. Asociarse individual y libremente para tomar parte en forma pacifica en los asuntos politicos del país.
IV. Tomar las armas en el Ejercito o Guardia Nacional para la defensa de la República y de sus Instituciones, en los terminos que prescriben las leyes.
V. Ejercer en toda clase de negocios el derecho de petición.

- Los principios de la democracia políticason: división de poderes, soberanía popular, respeto por los derechos delciudadano, existencia de varios partidos políticos, elecciones libresperiódicas, respeto por la voluntad popular, existencia y vigencia de unaConstitución, un Poder Judicial independiente del poder político.
Esos principios seguramente deben estar reconocidos en la ConstituciónNacional de México, solo falta que se cumplan. Cuando hay plena vigencia de laConstitución, a eso se llama Estado de Derecho y cuando esa Constituciónrespeta la voluntad popular expresada por la mayoría, entonces hay democracia._
The principles of political democracy are: division of powers, popular sovereignty, respect for citizen’s rights, the existence of several political parties, regular free elections, respect for popular will, the existence and effectiveness of a constitution and an independent judicial and political power.
These principles surely must be recognized in the Constitution of the United Mexican States. All that is lacking is that they be fulfilled. When the Constitutions is in full effect, this is called a Rule of Law. And when this Constitution has respect for the popular will expressed by a majority, then there is indeed democracy.
