Working with previous company we were asked to submit a proposal for the Museum of Reina Sofia in Madrid.
Part of the brief stated that the new design had to be in accordance with the corporate id of the Museum at the time. The emphasis of the proposal was placed on the IA, the UI elements and the UX in general, rather than a drastic change in the look and feel of the site. So we opted for a minimalistic design with tonnes of white space, rectangle blocks and a 16 block grid system. The UI elements of the time included, Tool tips, Ajax calendar for home page, jQuery accordions for optimum usage of space, mapped image galeries, and social media integration.
