The exhibition is a journey of Mughal Architecture through Fatehpur Sikri. It showcases the magnificent elements at Fatehpur Sikri like the Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i Khas Pillar, intricately carved jaali work, jharokhas, columns, arches etc.
The idea is to build awareness amongst people and school children and make them experience the architecture during the Mughal Reign through different mediums like photography, graphic panels, interactive screens and tables.
There is a color scheme which runs throughout the exhibition. Materials like medium density fiberboards(MDF), fiber sheets and thin flexiplys have been used to make the structures. To highlight these coloured light emitting diodes(LED) lights have been used in the back ground.
There is jaali work on the ceiling with lighting which in a way helps people navigate throughout the exhibition.
The exhibition has an interactive screen and an interactive table. The screen has thousands of pictures of different Mughal monuments, people can enlarge any of these pictures and can read about them at the same
time. The interactive table has pieces of a pillar, where they can put them together and understand the structure of the trabeated pillars and columns used at Fatehpur Sikri.
All the archiectural elements used at the exhibtion exist in different Mughal monuments and forts with different designs. The exhibition takes a person through the Mugal Era architecture and makes them experience its grandeur and magnificence.
