This coordinated comprehensive marketing campaign for Mt. Rainier Credit Union was created to support loan and membership growth as a result of the credit union’s successful FOM expansion to serve the community of Puyallup. These "Empowerment Tip Sheets" were designed to be taken with a member to the dealer when buying their next auto. The tips on the back of these pieces address how to hang on to your pre-approved credit union financing, instead of being talked into a dealer's auto loan.

The creative strategy was to use vintage illustrations paired with a modern messages about smart members saving money with a Sweetheart Deal from their local credit union. This creative harkens back to small-town america and the feel of a more simple and relaxed time. This was when you could rely on your neighbors, and chatting over the fence to them about great deals was a common practice.
