  • Mr. Wood is a product-package design created to support Movember – an international prostate cancer and men’s mental health awareness campaign. The complete box set of five includes eleven different styles of moustaches, each with an everyday function, targeting all generations of men and woman who support healthy living. The design direction focuses on getting the message across quickly and effectively through fewer design elements, and promoting sustainable solutions. While having a quirky and fun context, a very serious topic is addressed through the play on the word “wood”. Mr. Wood has no waste packaging, a strong, iconic brand, and proceeds from sales go to prostate cancer research and mental health initiatives. Awareness and acceptance of important issues are only possible through excellent visual communication execution of the message.
