  • This 7,500 s.f. home was completed in 2001, and is positioned on the lot for views of nearby mountains.  The main level has an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, two guest bedroom suites and a large covered outdoor dining porch overlooking the adjacent ski run.  The lower level features boys and girls bunkrooms, media room and ski-in / ski-out mudroom.  The upper level is the master suite with home office and deck.  The home features many reclaimed / recycled materials including structural fir timbers, barnwood siding and weathered steel elements.

  • Corrugated corten steel roofing, reclaimed barnwood siding, recalimed timber posts, copper windows, local random stone.
  • 7,500 s.f. home with three floors and ski-in / ski-out lower level.
  • Exterior walls are finished in recycled barnwood.  Windows are copper-clad.  The weathered steel plate firebox and flue are visible at left.  Stone is locally quarried.
  • The covered dining porch with fireplace overlooks the ski run.  The master bedroom deck is above right.

  • Cold-rolled steel plate finish on the garage doors. 
  • View of entry door from the porte cochere.  The laminated door slab is set in a steel frame and surronded by wire glazing.  Salvaged timber columns and steel angles support fir purlins and Corten roofing at the porte cochere roof.

  • Central stairway with fir stair treads and railings.  Timbers salvaged from a warehouse and weathered steel beams support the balcony above.  Flooring is stained concrete and stained pine planks.
  • Weathered steel fireplace at Living Room surrounded by views to nearby mountains.
  • Living Area and central stairway beyond.  Plaster walls with corrugated steel ceiling and exposed fir timbers.
  • Dining Area with hemlock wall finish.  The dining area is part of the larger open living room space.
  • Kitchen with pine flooring, concrete countertops, and alder cabinetry.
  • Master Bedroom with barnwood wall finish, timber ceiling and large doors to outdoor deck.
  • Master bath with barnwood walls, whitewashed pine floors and skylight above tub.
  • Stairwell with steel posts, weathered timbers, rolling steel shutters and wire glass ceiling.  Opening the rolling shutters allows a view from the Master Bath down to the Living Area.
