Morning Glory

I lost it. I don't know how but it happened. I took a break from Photography and Photoshop (or to rephrase, studies made me take a break). Then I was free for a while, I had no images to work on, I slowly started losing it. I hardly found inspiration among all those noob photography on the web, I got lazy, I needed to upgrade my gear but couldn't, I somehow stupidly thought that it's not a skill and everybody with a dSLR can do it, and thinking of all that, I got stuck in studies again, giving exam and mock and finals and thinking about them again and again. I even had shoots after mock, and finals but I made the heavy photoshopping process so complicated that when I used to think of working on one, I just couldn't sit still in front of desktop for 6+ straight hours. I couldn't revive it back. I forced myself to read articles and watch tuts and things.. wouldn't help. I did keep promoting the old ones on different sites though. Also, some more of my images were invited to GettyImages last month. Then I had to apply for universities, left for Pakistan in a short span of time, applied in a few quickly, got accepted, and got back.. with quite a bunch of images now. Here's one of them. Still had no inspiration but I somehow felt that the image is worth working on, just bumped up my speakers and played around PS, started enjoying again, and liked the result after about 6 hours.

but honestly, I didn't understand this period of rest at all. And I still don't know if I revived it back. But.. but working on an image finally for 6 straight hours does sound like I did.
