The opposition of Molo Longo breakwater to the see, ships that dock through the history and people that fantasize looking at the lights of the city of Rijeka.. are the motives embedded into the bench Mola.
The concept is based on the shape of the wave and boat hull. Wood, a traditional and resistant material in ship building is used for the surface of the bench. Using the tensed arch, which is formed by bending under the steam, the wood becomes a wave, surface for lying and sitting. Durability and raw surface of concrete are part of the past and future of Molo Longo boardwalk. Because of that, the base of the bench is made of concrete element that carries the whole construction as a centerboard, and the bench floats like catamaran touching the ground with two, or three lines.
Depending on the needs and frequency of the users, the bench can be adjusted to space, the parts are easy to replace or upgrade by combining the base with sitting and lying areas.

Suprotstavljanje Molo Longa silama mora, brodovi koji pristaju kroz povijest i ljudi kada maštaju gledajući svjetla grada Rijeke... motivi su uklopljeni u klupu Molu. Koncept se zasniva na obliku vala i trupa brodice.
Drvo, tradicionalan i postojan materijal u brodogradnji, iskorišten je za površinu klupe. Napetim lukom, nastalim savijanjem pod parom, drvo postaje val, ploha za ležanje i sjedenje.
Trajnost, te sirova tekstura betona dio su prošlosti i budućnosti Molo Longa. Zato bazu klupe čini betonski element, koji poput kobilice nosi cijelu konstrukciju, a klupa plovi kao katamaran i dodiruje pod na dvjema ili trima linijama. Kombiniranjem baza sa sjedećim i ležećim površinama, klupu je moguće prilagoditi prostoru, lako zamijeniti dijelove i nadograditi, ovisno o potrebama i frekventnosti korisnika.
