My research was focused on casual mobile games. A good mobile game should not only consider the
limitations of mobile handsets but also utilize upon the available advantages of this medium and the services it provides (SMS, GPS, and other network based services). The most important feature that makes casual games more suitable for mobile games is the simplicity including other factors like they are easy to learn, fun to play and have short game sessions. Short game sessions are one of the most important reasons, why casual games are a better match to mobile handsets, as it doesn’t demand a high level of immersion but still manages to involve the player.
