Mixed by Chris & John (2005) is a project for the design of the visual identity for one London-based House Music label. Besides the graphic design and the logo, I have been working on the photography as well. Keywords in the brief were: Contemporary; Stylish; Nightlife; Lifestyle; London; Urban; Sex; Fashion; Movement.
Three CD covers have been designed for promotional purposes; double album and bonus tracks CD. They were initially intended for the Asian tour, in the summer of 2005. Since the album was intended for a promotion with a DJ set in Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, and Hong Kong, we have decided to go with a stronger London accent on the covers. In that way, we make a stronger connection between the artists and their British origin. The Bonus Tracks CD is slightly different in style, both in the choice of music and design, than the previous two CD’s. That was done on purpose, so that the Bonus CD can distinct itself from the album. I have also done all of the photography that was used for the CD covers.
All of the CD’s are Limited Edition and they are not for sale. The covers have been sponsored and printed in Dubai by the “Target Offset” printing office. Read Less
