Mix Make Copy Take: Conference Poster and Booklet

Mix Make Copy Take Conference
Poster and brochure for fictional conference: student project
This project brief required the development of a theme for a fictional conference, and the production of a poster, which doubled as a cover, and a booklet. The theme I chose was plagiarism in design, entitled 'Mix Make Copy Take'; subtitled 'inspiration / parody / plagiarism in design: ealking the fine copyright line'.
My design concept was to take well known portrait images and to rip them up, creating a composite face; literally appropriating other people's work to make something new. The booklet had perforated lines to allow it to double as a flip book; simply tear and spend the conference sniggering at funny faces, such as the Superman, Einstein, Spock and Rita Angus's 'Rutu' below!
The poster, well folded, was deliberately ambiguous, so it wasn't clear what it was all about.
Full A1 poster.
Folded poster becomes a dustjacket, encolsing the booklet.
Cover of booklet with tear off postcard on reverse, and booklet flipbook example.
