When the new owners of Mission Surf asked for a starter page we just couldn't settle for a bland static flyer. Instead we utilized a Facebook Like box that displays their wall posts and the images of those who have "Liked" Mission Surf. Additionally to make better use of the limited real-estate a JQuery slideshow was used as alternative to Flash for better compatibility. The slideshow features various retail merchandise sold by Mission Surf.
Following these interactive elements are three key info graphics that were designed to quickly inform the viewer of which products and brands the shop carries. Once the owners have settled into their new shop the main layout of their website is already done and linking from these graphic will be programmed to further the functionality and effectiveness of their online storefront.
