Served as a paid intern production assistant for this graphic design company specializing in print production and design. Worked as independent art designer which involved communicating with clients and gathering information such as images, text and logos to create unique products. Designed advertisements in a variety of print productions including magazines, program booklets and brochures. Designed and/or modified print materials such as postcards, flyers, business cards and posters. Created and ordered promotional and display material including road side signs, large format banners, magnetic signs and table cloths. Responsible for a wide range of proofing, editing and correction of text based documents and artwork. Maintained and coordinated proper placement of advertising in multiple publications through the use of an integrated publishing office production system. Also designed signs for Timonium, MD disabilities expo (World of Possibilities Expo) and provided general assistance during the event.
