Milemark, LLC
Milemark, LLC is a merchandise business that I established in 2008. As an avid runner and a finisher of three marathons, I recognized after my first marathon that there was a tremendous void in the market for quirky, fun, and celebratory running lifestyle merchandise. So I decided to create it.
As a one person business, I used my own modest funds to incorporate, design, trademark, produce, market, and sell all of my inventory. I researched, secured, & set up all the booths at marathon expo's around the USA in addition to being the on site salesperson. I also handle all of the finances, book keeping, and maintain a seasonal website to augment the sales.
The apparel is made in the USA, the plush monkeys are made in China, and the gift ware comes in from Mexico. The designs and slogans were all produced from my own mind.
