Mientras quepa en la maleta is an art project/exhibition created by Gris García Forced to travel from Spain to Mexico because of an administrative error she decided to make the trip with her suitcase filled with art pieces of 16 artists that had never had an exhibition in Mexico. The idea was simple, if it fits in the suitcase the piece would be taken for the ride.  The exhibition took place in three different cities in Mexico in August & September.

Since the central idea of the project was the use of a suitcase all the elements where related to suitcases and airports. The idea was to simulate the itinerary of the event as it went from one place to the next.

For the designs I used real airport stickers for reference and used monospaced fonts with a  "blurring process" to give the peculiar feel airport printers give.
Invitations
Invitation for the three exhibitions that would take place in three different cities. The red circle would be moved as the suitcase would be taken to its next stop.
Smaller version of invitation used for facebook and e-mailing

The invitation was printed on adhesive paper so it would simulate a baggage sticker used in airports

Invitation printed on big scale for one of the exhibitions
