At the same time, there is a disconnect between urban communities and their food sources, while busy lifestyles leave people unwilling or unable to spend time cooking healthy meals.
The concept:
Miele: cook together is a premium service that allows people to engage with their food in a way that maximises enjoyment and learning while minimising the time investment required. This service brings people together to share space, equipment, knowledge and company.
The service is centred around communal cooking spaces, each of which accommodates up to twelve people in different-sized groups. The layout of these cooking spaces encourages interaction between groups while leaving enough personal space for comfort. All necessary equipment is provided at the cooking space. The spaces allow a guest to entertain friends in a spacious setting that still allows for the intimate gesture of providing a ‘home’-cooked meal.
