Midiwood is a portable midi to usb converter that fits any size of music production studio from the biggest to the smaller.

The Midiwood started around the Midibox gm5x5x5 project http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/gm5x5x5. After understanding all the project and building it, I ended up with one naked and fragile board full of components.

Using plywood and laser cutter, I designed one layout to cover the board giving protection and unity at small cost.

The Midiwood is projected around press fit joints with 5 screws and spacers to hold them, turning it to an affordable and elegant solution.
