This is a small section of the natural levy of the Mianus River in Connecticut. This stream starts in Bedford NY and meanders in a relatively steep grade to the Long Island Sound. It is a small stream but it clearly packed a punch as it carved a deep gorge a few miles avobe this location. In sections nearby you can see the old land claim fences made of limestore. This section is unique. The winter was long and yet green/blue moss survives always.
