The "Mezzarmoire" project was born from my own experience of Parisian flat owner!

As in most capitals, the price / area often leads to fit into small spaces where the organization is paramount.

Groups such as IKEA have understood.

However, while we were working with my wife on the redevelopment of our bedroom / office to maximize space, we realized that nothing met our expectations throughout the supply market.

Our case is standard ... not easy to find all bed / wardrobe or dressing that suits you ... not easy to accommodate all its business in small areas ...

The concept of mezzanine is widespread. But if many types of structures and facilities have been designed for children (raised beds with cupboards, loft bed + desk + wardrobe, bed + office, ...) the adult room market remains highly stereotyped.

However, the needs of adults are not so far from their children when they live in a small area: fully optimize the various features which will meet the space.

In a bedroom, the only one incompressible surface is occupied by the bed.

Many podium-beds exist that can store linens and pillows to release the cabinets ... nothing but that the volume has been optimized to receive the contents of a full cabinet.

The majority of adult mezzanines are designed to help accommodate a sofa or office - items that often represent a large area but low volume compared to a dressing - and therefore "high-pitched" it is well impossible to use in attic apartment and often visually obstruct space (loss of light / crushing impression).

More than just a product design exercise, Mezzarmoire is a real work space planning for better adapt to the specific needs of each.
Developed in collaboration with a carpentry / cabinet-making company and a mattress manufacturer - it is totally customizable: depending on the position and placement of the bed in the room and according to the wishes of each person, a variety of proposals are possible (height, shelves, doors, cabinets, wardrobes, drawers, desk ...)
With a mattress size that can be created to the centimeter (for very specific areas) and on the basis of a solid wood (oak, beech, ...), high quality finishes and assemblies are fully customizable - from the classic to modern.

With an area of 3 square meters for a storage volume which can vary from 2.4 to 5.4 cubic meters, Mezzarmoire is a godsend when you have little space!

Mezzarmoire will be available from spring 2015 - If you are interested, a personalized study is already conceivable.
