Mezzami Cafe

Branding
An visual identity for Mezzami Café, a new café just outside of Brussels, in Sint.Katherina.Lombeek. Themed around being together close friends & strangers alike in this small town by using social media as it's inspiration. It is a place where one can enjoy a good drink, a tasty tapa, and some good company.

The designs have a vintage feel of an old Belgian café with hints of the new-age social media and a handcrafted feel in every piece. The business cards allow for the owners to hand write their name and number for a personal touch along with hand stamped coasters to let the clients of Mezzami to interact and allow them to write notes to one another.

A bespoke chalkboard menu was crafted and designed by myself and applied with the help of Mexican illustrator, Paulina Miz. By writing in chalk, it gives the café personal handtouch and allows the owners to keep the menu fluid. The menu (photographs to follow) is a mention to a "Moleskin" journal complete with elastic binding and carefully (or I should say uncarefully) placed coffee and wine stains.
