The sign and post colors were in perfect harmony with surrounding natural fauna.

The signs were bi-lingual. For the graphic design and text layout portion of the sign, a color difference accentuated the Spanish text, and background map elements strengthened the motif. 

Variations of the boarder design were created to facilitate different sign sizes and orientations.

A flat background color is added to complete the boarder design.

Shadow areas are defined in PS - by placing a shadow layer over the flat color and removing shadow similar to a traditional grisaille or under-painting.
