- Methodist Hospital Commercial Campaign 2011
Starting in late 2010 and releasing the final for air in early 2011, XL Films worked with The Methodist Hospital Marketing department to create a new 9 spot commercial campaign. Each spot focused on personal stories told by real patients.
This was my second opportunity to work on a new campaign for TMH, the last being more doctor focused and before the days of the assumed HD delivery. This campaign was delivered entirely digitally in 1080p, a first for us in the Houston market.
This was also the project that spurred XL into investing in a Smoke on Mac license and my first full, blown project in Smoke. It ended up a pleasant challenge, a learning experience that was actually fun. In fact, if we had used our previous workflow late nights and a stressed deadline likely would have been the result.
Not all are running at the time, so I'll add them as I can. My favorite two, the two with the most composite work, will hopefully start running soon.
