  • As a startup multi-lingual translation service Metaverbia required a clean and modern design that helped the content be the main focus. Throughout the initial industry research it was apparent that the market was proliferated with design heavy sites that really detracted from the content itself...Words!

    It was interesting to me that such a rich subject had so many 'no go' avenues,  so many elements were political or socially contentious, for example maps, location, language, maps. All of these in some way or another sought to offend somebody somewhere. This helped me really focus on the elements that were synonymous with communication across boundaries.

    Metaverbia is the brainchild of Jean-Philippe Drécourt a talented and versatile translator. The site was built by developers' extraordinaire Beth and Chin of
    Loud n' Clear
