Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, is known for their cultural arts such as Torajans carved wood, which is called Pa'ssura or "The Writing". 27 patterns of carved woods in this book was approached with contemporary perspective without alternating the original substance of it. The other purpose is to reintroduce the eccentric visual of Toraja carving to the public.
