At Men's Journal I was hired to do photo research and editing for all sections of the magazine. This included stock imagery and images direct from photographers.
As the "Gear Girl" I was in charge of contacting companies and asking them to send us their products to be featured in the Gear Guide section of every issue. I then coordinated the product shoots with our in-house photographer. Because someone has to be in charge of the sporks.
