- Memory of Ice
An ongoing series of mosaic panels inspired by glacial ice. - In 2007, I had been reading about climate change, when our area was hit with severe floods. I was alone at home when access to my road was cut off by landslides and the overflowing Chehalis River. The power was out, but I had a generator and a woodstove, so I was safe and warm. The rest of my family were staying in a nearby city, so it was a time of quiet reflection for me, and I began to work on this series. All of the materials used (except for adhesive) are reclaimed.
