Old Fairground -Sajmiste Concentration Camp- was made bystudents at the 1 st year of Masters studies of architecture at theUniversity Politecnico di Milano. The team was consisted of Branko Jovovic, DaniloMiajlovic, Bojan Lazicic, Dusana Petrovic and Jelena Slavkovic. Staro Sajmistewas the site of the World War II Sajmiste concentration camp (1941-1944). Inthe period between the World Wars, it was the site of the new Belgrade fair, spreading over an area of 15,000 m 2 with modern and artisticbuildings and constructions, including high metal spike construction. Today it is in ruins and forgotten byeveryone. Our idea was to reconstruct the main building of the Fairground into a museum which would be dedicated to the World War II victims.
