A surreal illustration that I created for Desktopography 2008. This piece, entitled “Memoir” was inspired by a unreal love relationship that I was going through during the time. The structure, the rain, the figure with the umbrella, the bird cages, almost everything in the image has a special meaning and symbolism. The overall surreal illustration serves as a glimpse into my mind during the time of turmoil.
