This is the opening sequence to the Medstar Health Mandatory Initiative, explaining to employees why it is imperative to participate in mandatory training and compliance every year.

This piece was created using the process of video scribing. Using an aerial setup of a video camera, the footage was drawn on bristol paper with black and red felttip markers. Since the entire process was filmed live, each sheet had to be flawlessly drawn in one take. Intensive planning of hand positioning, flow of the scene development, and timing were imperative to create a successful end product.
