Meals and Reels Cookbook

Meals and Reels
This is a movie inspired cookbook including recipes from iconic films such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Jaws, Goodfellas, and The Matrix. This cookbook is meant to be used by couples or just friends, while sitting down and enjoying a movie along with the meal you prepare. Each recipe uses a difficulty system based on 5 stars.

This isn't just a cookbook you put on and take off of a shelf, there is a user interaction to make the experience more enjoyable. After each recipe, there is a Production Notes section for the user to write their own notes as well as being able to edit the actual directions and ingredients themselves based on your own preference.

Design inspired by typed movie screenplays.
Each recipe includes a movie ticket, which is taped in with masking tape, displaying the name of the movie, name of the director(s), and year of release. The entire cookbook uses a rating system based on stars: More stars, the more difficult the meal is to prepare.

The insides of the cookbook are meant to look as though they were typed on a typewriter. The extra spacing between each direction is there so that the user can include their own notes and changes to the recipes.
Production Notes section, where the user can include their own notes about the meal and how they 'rated' it.
