- As part of a new McDonald's initiative to promote children's health and wellbeing we launched a dedicated, stand-alone website. Since the site was to encompass more than just it's free summer soccer programs, i came up with the name "Ronald's Family Club". The idea was to use the soccer program as the launch phase but build in other areas centered around fitness, nutrition, and responsibility in the future. The soccer programs offered after school programs, and during the World Cup - the Player Escort Program where we sent 1 Korean kid to escort the Korea National Team Captain (Park Ji Sung) as well because of close ties to the education ministry this was possible - but that meant no food marketing of any kind.
