In August of 2005, Mavuno's exciting journey as a community began when Mavuno was planted in South C. It began with limited resources and few guarantees. And yet God allowed them to thrive and give them great success in reaching many who were formerly unchurched.
When their existence there was threatened, 300 legendary Mavunites embarked on a risky 2 year KSH. 30 million process that relocated mavuno to Belle Vue. As a result of their faith, God has been exceedingly faithful, allowing them to see amazing growth and witness countless stories of transformation. You, or someone you know, may be one such Mavuno story!
THE RATIONALE. to increase the capacity to raise a fearless change-army that will impact our city and position them to spread out across Africa and the world.
THE FUTURE. A two year search for a suitable venue has culminated in the identification of a 32 acre property that is 22.5km down Mombasa road, a 15 minute drive from the current location. Surrounded by rapidly multiplying housing developments, on the growing edge of Mombasa Road just past Mlolongo,they have identified this exciting property as the future home of the fearless!
