As the Creative Marketing Manager at Maurice Villency, Inc., I escorted the company into the 21st Century by art directing a new web site (below), designing and programming their first online advertisements and establishing a database and system for the distribution of Enewsletters.
- Brief: Optimize Maurice Villency's web presence.
Solution: Early in my position, I designed and programmed Villency's first banner advertisement to run on the homepage of NYTIimes.com. I campaigned for the replacement of the existing Maurice Villency Flash website with an SEO-optimized HTML site, which supported a content management system (CMS). I also transitioned the Enewsletter system to a sophisticated database that managed email content and distribution lists.
My role: HTML and Flash savvy art direction, content manager, designer
Result: The CMS system enabled autonomy: quick updates and confidence in content based on pricing and dimension changes made internally. Maurice Villency saved time and money by bringing website updates and email distribution inhouse. Click-through rates and traffic stats were more accurate based on the new programming.

- Banner Advertisements
Before I started working for Maurice Villency, the company had never used online advertising. I designed an animated Flash advertisement (below) to represent the refined taste of Maurice Villency's luxury furniture. It ran on the home page of NYTimes.com. Once my responsibilities increased and time was of the essence, I began art directing freelancers who designed and programmed our more recent banner advertisements.
