This is an 11x14 poster I designed for myself. For inspiration I researched flyers and advertisements from the 60's. I offset the colors to provide more of a screen printed look. the background is a photograph of a crumpled paper bag for texture. The picture is one that my friend Phil Mo Lee took of me performing live. The colors purple and yellow were chosen for their contrasting vibrating properties; the green was chosen to calm it down. This piece was completed in Photoshop just under two hours.
