Matter of Reaction Movement Project is a non-profit Chicago-based modern dance company that explores the physical and emotional limits of movement. Its three founders, Kathleen Hickey, Renee Murray and Kristin Pavelka, manage to infuse their varied compositional talents while creating work within a collaborative and improvisational environment. I have had the privilege of being asked to express the dance company in its visual media, helping to form its attitude and defining characteristics in the eyes of the public.
