- I was hired by Joshua Davis Studios to help build an Adobe AIR powered desktop guestbook application. Masdar Institute wanted a guestbook they can run on desktops or kiosk computers for student registration. After signing the guestbook, your signature turns into generated art thanks to Adobe Flash and the HYPE FRAMEWORK.A student's signature is a unique piece of art which is used as their name tag. There are screens throughout the Masdar Institute which cycle through student signatures creating a pleasing art mural.The desktop guestbook was built using Adobe AIR, Flash, and the HYPE FRAMEWORK.The backend system was built using Apache, PHP, and MySQL.
