I have designed multi-product capsule collection for Marni pre-fall 13/14 which focuses on Marni's signature spot print and utilised it in a humourous and playful direction by encorporating spot jacquard fabric and bold spot meshes.

Key design elements of this capsule collection include an oversized ovoid silhouette, playful print mixing and multi-layering of mixed texture pieces.

The look of this capsule collection is aimed at a slightly younger Marni customer, it is satisfying the wants and needs of the younger market that aspire and adore Marni.

The styling of the collection is very eccentric and eccletic in true Marni fashion, but individually, the pieces are very clean and wearable shapes.

The fabrics are interesting and the cuts are innovative yet commercial.

Fabrics include metallic jersey, spot jacquard, spot mesh, silk crepe-de-chine, sandwashed silk, stretch cotton twill and melton wool.
