M A R M O R I O S O !
This project was influenced by a ancient technique called "Marmoreado".
This technique was applied to book covers using oil inks.
The piece developed is based on the realization of this technique in 3d.
The project consists of a family of three tables with different dimensions which diffuse into each other. The top are 20 mm thick and are made using several layers, joined with resin. To be a distinction between materials the top is made of two materials: stone marble and lacquered wood with different colors and glossy finish. The junction of these two resulted in a game between contrasts and textures.
