The James M. Kilts Center for Marketing was founded in 1999
with the purpose of enhancing Chicago Booth’s impact and reputation in the area
of marketing. Chicago Booth is renown for groundbreaking research in the areas
of finance, economics, and accounting, but it is not top of mind for
prospective students and researchers of marketing. The Marketing at Chicago
Booth publication serves an audience of prospective students, peer
institutions, and corporate recruiters in marketing. The purpose of the
brochure is to explain Booth’s data-driven approach to marketing, highlight the
achievements of its students and alumni, and demonstrate the strength of
faculty research.
