Self directed project. I
chose to re-brand and re-design the existing packaging for alcohol
brand Marie Brizard focusing on the fruit liqueur range.
decided to focus on a target market and their lifestyle and design the
packaging around this. The product is a fruit liqueur, mainly used in
cocktails drunk by young women. I wanted to make the product more user
friendly and encourage people to make their own cocktails at home. I
incorporated this into the design by adding a swing tag around the neck
of the product which included cocktail recipes. I also made the bottle
lid the same measurement as a shot. I have made the style of the
packaging more modern with a sleek contemporary feel giving the brand a
new lease of life. The glass bottle is frosted with a fruit pattern
around the bottom which is left clear so that the coloured liquid will
show through and look like the fruit for that flavour.
