Develop a brand identity for a new fictional chocolate company, pick six items to create packaging for, including three in a series, and design them according to brand standards.
With only the name “MarMar,” I didn’t have a lot to go on. I decided it sounded very high-fashion and expensive, so I worked to make my chocolate series have that feeling of exquisite pleasure. Influences included Bauhuas type, which led to a deceptively simple wordmark that could be applied in interesting ways to each different shape. Colors chosen were a deep brown and a contrasting grey-blue which further enhanced the luxurious feel. These chocolates would be at home in an expensive gift store or high-end chocolate shop.
