different places different paces
I grew up with maps all over the place. My Dad collects them, some are seriously antique while some are printed and show places where we have been as a family. I've picked up the habit, both collecting (I have two antiques, one of Baltimore, my hometown, and another of North Carolina: the Family-roots-state). It makes sound sense, then, that I should also like drawing maps. I like the chance to get a little personal and a little funky with them, to hide inside-jokes, or Easter Eggs, for folks to look for. Maps are good gifts. They are also fun to look at. They are commemorative, but also function as place-finders. Let me know what kind of map you want.
