I just had to do it. I grew up in a little town called, York, PA. In this town was a delicious, multi-location donut shop that I think makes the big boys look shameful. Well, in taste that is. Visually, it looks like a dump. So, this is my homage to the glory that is the Maple Donuts donut. I only wish this would become the beginnings of their new brand.
I designed the core brand to nod to the nostalgic history of the company, while introducing a newer, modern element. Each of the below designs, out line the core elements of their brand touch points. These are the pieces seen most often by the public inside and outside their locations.
To maintain brand consistency while designing each touch point to be unique, different and individually engaging is the core of my brand philosophy. You'll notice how each piece is rooted with a visual language, but builds onto the Maple Donuts identity. Each piece adds something new that's unique and poignant.
